How does Loudr process my license request once I’ve placed an order?

Once you’ve placed an order, you’ll receive an automated email that confirms that your purchase went through. (If you don’t receive an email from us and you haven’t found it in your spam folder, please email us at support@loudr.fm.)

 

Your license request is then received by the Loudr licensing team - we take the information that you’ve provided and run it through our systems to identify which rights holders own the song.

 

When the rights holders have been identified, our licensing team puts licenses into place. This can happen quickly when publishers turn licenses around promptly or, as is often the case, when we already work with the publishers. This happens less quickly when publishers take more time to grant licenses or when publishers cannot be located and we must obtain a statutory license through the Copyright Office.

 

Once a license is in place, you’ll be able to log into your Loudr account and get it. It can take up to 14 days for a license order to be processed, but in many cases it takes less time, so feel free to check on the status by logging into your Loudr account. Once the request(s) in your license order have been completely processed, you’ll receive an email stating whether your licenses are ready, if they need to be updated and resubmitted (free of charge), or if they’ve been denied.
